Shutoffs that turn, supply lines under ten years old, a drain tailpiece that lines up, a wall that can take a new valve. Anything that is not right gets priced before we start.

Shut down and remove
Water off at the stops or the apartment, old fixture out, old putty, silicone and corrosion cleaned off the deck or the wall.

Rough and adjust
New angle stops if the old ones are seized, supply extensions if the stubs are short, drain reworked to meet the new fixture, valve set to the correct depth for the tile.

Clean the aerator before calling
Low flow from a kitchen faucet is often debris in the aerator screen. Unscrew, rinse, reinstall. If it comes back fast, the problem is upstream and worth a visit.
Fix the drip
A dripping faucet is a worn cartridge or seat. It wastes water on a metered bill and it gets worse. A cartridge is a 30-minute repair.
